Spazdeus.com has been mine since 2001, which in internet years means it should probably be wearing cargo shorts and complaining about dial-up.
The name came from my best friend since college — one of those nicknames that somehow stuck because friendship is weirdly good at accidental branding.
I keep it around for nostalgic reasons. Not because it’s sleek. Not because it fits neatly into some polished personal brand. God forbid. I use it from time to time because it reminds me of an earlier version of myself. The one still figuring things out, laughing too loud, probably overthinking everything, but doing it with style.
Spazdeus is part digital attic, part inside joke, part breadcrumb trail.
A little strange. A little sentimental. Still mine.
And honestly, that feels about right.

This image is an inside joke. D.M. gets it.
